Saturday 7th November South Edisto River, SC mile 505 (36 miles)

Fueled up in Charleston and meters seemed to be working properly here, managed to get 28 gallons into 40 gallon tank, now that’s more like it. Met Estelle of ZURI, the South African Catamaran that we have stalked since York River Yacht Haven this September.

We are starting to see a lot more palm trees, not the ones from the garden center, but the ones that actually naturally grow in this climate. Wow the currents rip here due to the big tidal differences. We anchored in this beautiful spot, Fisherwoman Maria unsuccessful in capturing dinner, so we cooked Indian that night, chicken jalfrezzi and spicy popadums

Low country........
