It was the bleedin’ MC-612 supposedly “Smart” regulator that was not puttin’ out the way it should. Got a new one overnighted from Balmar and after a couple of hours of field testing by means of reversing in the slip at 1800 rpm it was confirmed that the new little blue electronix bugger worked as advertised. Gotta love those Amps!
Once elecronix was taken care of, we headed into Charleston to do a bit of sightseeing.
